Oulu Open 2026

Oulu Open is our hometown competition and one of the most meaningful events of the year for us. Hosted at Oulun Kiipeilykeskus, this year’s edition was the biggest yet, with over 90 competitors and a men’s final featuring many of Finland’s top climbers.

The setting team consisted of Team Asetus — Eelis Sallmén, Jaakko Risku, and Toni Puurunen. We were joined by Jakub Stec from Poland and David Heidermann from Germany. Together, the team delivered 30 qualification boulders of the highest quality and both men’s and women’s finals. Our aim was to create a diverse and progressive set that challenged elite athletes while remaining inspiring and accessible for all levels of climbers.
